Multi-Tasking Functions

Since many peripheral devices can be
operated at the same time, system design
can be simplified. 3 different robot devices
can be operated at the same time, and
multiple tasks can be assigned.

HIGH-LEVEL MOTION CONTROL
Arc Motion
Pick and place operations
can be speeded up with
the arch function, which
computes optimum paths
for a fast motion.


3 Dimensional Free Curve
Permits operations like 3D linear interpolation, 2D circular arc interpolation and free curvilinear trajectories. Most appropriate for sealing work.
Continuous Path Control (CONT)
Enables the robot to pass near the target positions with constant speed. It is effective for high-speed movement in work areas where precise path control is not necessary.
Access Level Control
by Password

This provides protection against accidental data deletion or change. Password is required for the modification of certain parameters.
Return from
Emergency Stop Conditions

It is possible to return from the emergency condition by releasing the emergency switch before the servo on. There is no need to turn the robot off and on again, and return to the origin.
Conditional Stop
During Arm Movement

Using the SCHK command, if input signal conditions are met during arm movement, the robot can be stopped and jumped automatically. When used in combination with a sensor, this suitable for pro-
cessing an abnormal condition.
Parallel I/O Processing
Using the SOUT command, output of a signal can be specified, even during arm movement.
Wide Variety of
Parameter Settings

For an experienced user, a wide variety of parameters are provided to optimize motion control.





Error-Back-up Function
In case of an error, a wide range of diagnostic messages assist trouble-shooting. Additionally, past errors (up to 10) are buffered for subsequent recall.
